Wifi Interface Setup & Operation
Users with Android TVs can skip directly to Step 2.
Step 1: This instruction is for users with non-Android TVs, requiring the additional Wifi Interface Adapter (DMU). First connect the AC power supply. Connect the DMU unit to your TV's HDMI input using the supplied HDMI cable. Be sure your TV is using the HDMI input as the input source.

Step 2: Before use, each new DMU or TV must be directed to your local wifi network. After selecting the yellow setup gear in the lower left corner of the home screen, you can select Network. Click to select the desired network, and enter your network password.

Step 3: When setting up a new user account, a Verify Email will be sent to confirm the new users email and provide a temporary password. There is also a WV Software Download link. It will cause the APK file to be downloaded to the user's hard drive. Copy that WV_tv_XXX.apk (~24MB size) file into a USB thumb drive, and insert the thumb drive into the DMU WiFi Adapter.

At boot up, the DMU device will awaken with display showing three icons on left side. Selecting the middle icon (with 6 dots) will reveal the field of apps that can be executed. Selecting the Yellow FileManager will show the USB memory stick contents.

Select the USB Icon to display the list of files

Select the “PP-release_live_xxx.apk file and follow the install prompts.

After completing the selection, repeatedly hit the “go-back” button on the remote control until you see the app selector again. The new PictPlay app will be at the bottom of the screen. Arrow to the icon, and select OK to run the app.

Now you can open your PictPlay user account on your computer or mobile device, and “add a new device” under the device tab

Select ‘Add a Device’, and input the name you prefer for the device, followed by the device ID showing on the TV screen. Select the time zone and click on add. (note: when relocating a DMU to a new account, you must delete from the original account)

Now selecting ‘Publish' a Playlist, the Device ID's can be selected. Your Playlist will be published to all selected Devices.

Congratulations! Your playlist should download and start playing. The first pass through the playlist may be slowed by buffering, but as each image is downloaded, the subsequent play time should be fast.
